Thank you for choosing Central Michigan Catering to cater your event! We pride ourselves on providing quality food and service at an affordable price. Our goal is to take the stress away from you, so you can enjoy your event. The following are questions that we get asked frequently.
Do you offer taste tests?
We do! We offer one complimentary taste test for up to 4 people. Food requests can be made and will try to be granted but we schedule many on the same day, therefore, we cannot meet all requests.
Do you provide tables or chairs for events?
CMC does not provide tables or chairs for events. We will need 3 tables total: two 8-foot tables for the buffet and one table for the beverages. The beverage table can be any size. Additional tables may be needed for appetizers or desserts, if applicable.
When are the final count and payment due?
The final count and payment are due 8 days prior to your event. Payment can be made three different ways: check written out to Central Michigan Catering (1010 W. Broadway St. Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858), cash, or PayPal (PayPal charges add a 3% service fee) on our website. If you opted for the china package your choice of linen napkin color and guest tablecloth count are due the week before your event. The color choices are located on our website under the "Catering Information" section.
Can I get a refund for my deposit?
Deposits are non-refundable. However, we do make an effort to accommodate you should your event need cancelled. Please contact us for more information.
Is there a travel fee?
Any distance over 30 miles from our shop (1010 W. Broadway Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858) is a $250 travel fee and any distance over 60 miles is a $500 fee. We do not travel further than 100 miles.
